I wanted to express my thanks for a very well written instruction manual for a fabulous product.  The versalift instruction manual, with two small exceptions, is the most complete and well written manual that I have used.  The exceptions were a bolt size, and the countersunk holes on the platform.  The bolt size was a 5/8 inch length instead of the stated 7/8 inch length (there were no 7/8 inch bolts included in the packet).  The platform had no countersunk holes on either side, so to find the topside, I used the decals.

Overall great instructions and so far it works like a champ. Not only do I like it, but everyone that has seen it thinks it’s great also.  A well  thought  out  product,  good job.

Versalift Attic can greatly improve your garage.

The idea of a Versalift attic may not completely give you an accurate picture of what it is like to actually have one. Lots of people can tell you that things stay neater, the garage is nicer, and there is an ease about getting these things accomplished. To me, it means I have been given back my time and my ability to get other things done that are important to me. It means being able to rely on that cleanliness. I will not walk in one day and find that the entire chore has to be done again. I have enough of that when I walk into my kids’ rooms.

There is a really big difference between a chore that has to be done repeatedly and one that does not. The ability to count on the permanency of the fix is what really relaxes me. Dishes get done, rooms are picked up, and laundry is folded over and over again. But having a Versalift attic is like having a completed check on the list every single day, and that is a huge stress reliever. Until you really know what that means and what it feels like, it is hard to truly appreciate the nature of such a reward.

Using garage attic storage options without having to contend with issues of safety can change how you approach a lot of things about home ownership. Sometimes, I am completely surprised by just how easy it is to really accomplish something once your basic objection is taken away. I was always intimidated by the steps to the attic. They are so small and are unstable. So I never used it.

Since the addition of the garage attic storage lift, I have been able to get more things tucked away and am not so concerned about the safety issues. I am still quite careful and am able to understand that the steps themselves still represent a certain amount of risk, but the overall effect is nice. I can put things away. This can seem like such a small deal. To me, it is a big deal. I am converting part of the garage into an office and keeping the place neat has become incredibly important to me. I love the lift and would tell anyone with an attic that it’s an investment that you will completely appreciate.

Get the Best Garage Overhead Storage Lift

I ran across an ad the other day for a garage overhead storage lift. I was wondering if this was the same thing as a Versa Lift. I had heard of the latter before and I wanted to investigate the possibility of installing one. The short answer is Versa Lift is indeed a garage overhead storage lift, but that doesn’t mean that every storage lift is a Versa Lift. There are some things in this world that you should always buy the generic version. Over the counter pain reliever, pretzels, and laundry detergent top my list. But there are some things that you should never purchase the generic version. A lift system is one of those things.

I worked in a factory so I can tell you that many name brand products are simply placed in different packaging. However, when you are talking about a lift system, this is not the case. They did not create a generic version by slapping a different label on it. They are, in fact, two very different elements altogether. If you want quality and reliability then there is no reason to stray from the original. For something like this you need the best. It’s that simple.

When you have a Versalift attic you also have the advantage of having the cleanest garage on the block. You have neighbors that look at your garage in awe. You can easily allow people to throw parties in your garage because you have all this wonderful space. Of course, that might leave a mess behind. What I love most about having a clean garage is having the clean garage. There is no more tripping over things and trying to navigate a disaster area filled with too much of everything under the sun.

A Versalift attic is primarily one of those special things that you keep to yourself simply because it is generally considered inappropriate to take guests up into the attic. However, I have had a few curious guests take a look at the lift system. They know what my garage used to look like and now they see the wide open space of a pristine garage. They know what a big deal it is. I am happy as I can be with the system that made it so easy to create the clean garage I needed and wanted for so long.

Some of today’s attic storage solutions barely seem like solutions at all to me. I was peeking around, looking for something that was really viable. In my disappointment I mentioned to a friend that my garage and attic would just one day be sold separately from the house because I would never get things organized. Of course, you know how the story goes, that friend happened to have the perfect solution just inside.

I watched the process unfold in front of me. It was really amazing. Put stuff on. Send it up. Take stuff off. So simple and yet ingenious at the same time. So you know I just had to have one of these. And in no time flat I was putting my stuff on, sending it up, and taking it off. In the blink of an eye I had the attic storage solutions I needed and the convenience that I wanted. It is, in short, perfect for the job at hand.

If you are anything like me, you never realized just how much a garage attic lift was actually a necessity until you had one. I don’t understand why these don’t come standard on every home. It is almost as if someone woke up one day and decided to solve the biggest homeowners’ issues in the easiest way possible. All of my clutter and junk that was once some sort of travesty in the garage is now a nice, neat less of a travesty in the attic. All because the lift system works so well.

I do not get around very well. I have mobility issues that prevented me from being able to carry anything up through the stairwell to the attic. Something as simple as an attic garage lift has changed what I can’t do into something I can do. This, of course, changes the scope of my home and keeps everything in much better condition.

Garage storage lifts take away all my son’s excuses for being sloppy. He’s in his teens, that lovely stage where he has to rebel and separate himself from the entire household. One of his tools for separation is his constant mess. The rest of the house is pretty much spotless. Even the garage was, until I had this ridiculous idea that I would clean up everything that was out of place in his bedroom and store it in the garage. Instead of moving it back and putting it away, he figured the garage was fine. The mess grew exponentially in three days.

On the fourth day I ordered from the selection of garage storage lifts I found online and easily moved everything up there. Believe it or not, he still thinks that is a good idea and he now goes and retrieves what he needs from the attic. It’s easy, fast, and his room is actually quite clean these days. The mess in the attic is relatively small, and most importantly, I don’t have to stare at it and guests don’t have to see it. It is a much nicer solution than listening to a thousand excuses for being messy.

If you have a gift giving occasion for an aging parent, aunt, uncle, or just need something cool to give a friend, attic lifts can be the perfect gift idea. It’s not only a totally unique idea, but it is one that gives back a certain level of independence. Attic stairs are dangerous. Moving things up and down is just not a safe endeavor. Creative solutions to this problem include finding a way to get the storage items up through the attic access. It’s much easier to take everything up independently. That’s what the lift does. It goes up through the ceiling.

I gave one to my father and he loves it. All the stuff that used to hang out in his garage was becoming a disaster area. He wasn’t happy with it and I was afraid he was going to trip over something. Attic lifts allow just about anyone to have a better option. This has been proven true as my father now has the cleanest garage of his life, but doesn’t have to make sacrifices when it comes to getting the things that he needs.
